We are two of the luckiest people in the world. We have 20 acres of gorgeous desert property 30 minutes from the Grand Canyon – The Grand Canyon is not only one of our most amazing National Parks, it is also one of the Seven Wonders of the World. How amazing is that?

Any gifts will go 100% to our Fund the Farm – Building Projects. We each work two other jobs and are working to get our place ready for summer, the monsoons, fall and winter in the high desert. 

We have a very old mobile house that we are busy renovating to be our home. It has 1000 sq ft and is waaay bigger than the Tiny Home we loved and lived in for the last several years! Wow the space. The renovations will allow the house to last through all the desert can bring.

Our property came with some solar, a small septic tank and a large water tank. We’re using energy judicially while adding solar, pooping carefully and drinking lots of water to stay hydrated. We arrived at our new home with 7 horses, 5 pigs, 3 dogs and a kitty cat. Their living and housing needs are being constructed now. We have finished our perimeter fencing, a behemoth task! It keeps our farm safe and secure while we build the rest.

Here is a brief list of what we hope to do and build in the next few months.

+ Refine our pastures and build shelters for our Retirement Horses.

+ Designate the living space and build housing for our Piggy Sanctuary.

+ Create Kennels and Sniff Spot areas for visiting dogs not allowed on certain trails.

+ Build a Horse Arena.

+ Build our tack shed, hay barn and washstands for Horse Boarders.

All will be solar powered and all saving water through collection and reuse.
